The will to control and to domesticate It is a part of human nature. And it is known that we use our possession of power, beauty and wealth as tools to get control.

When I work I am constantly in a duel. I relate my personal habits and structures to subjects and to issues implied by society. The grasp of freedom and how it effects my identity and the way life moves. The verge that divides or connects my public life with my private life. The complexity of living in a city-shape and fitting in my escapist day dreams with the reality around me. Constituting the limits or migrations. How it is involved in the way I reflect and act.

As access to pursue my work I use personal and architectural symbolic elements. Additionally I use iconic gestures related to power, beauty and wealth. With focus on rooms in the city I create constructions, mixed from architecture, interior and objects. I aim to make a combined construction which has remembrance to a space we might know. In that way I am staging a setting that the viewer can relate to.

On a formal level I want to explore the conventional rules of esthetic, meaning the essential classical principle forms in art language. Additional I intend to challenge those principles by adding a new set of esthetic rules, one could say make a new domain to the classical conventions.

A few work plans.
Girls Room, is the title on a sculptural installation I made this year. My plan is to continue working on this project through 2008. In project space Plan B this year I made different interior parts and accessories that belongs or has a connection to a girl's room. Necklace... Earring... etc.

Supplementary I work on series of drawings and free hanging objects on walls. The subject on the drawing's and objects derives from architecture and female accessories as makeup and jewels. For instance my latest drawings are letters composing a word. Each word represents a makeup item.

At Project Space Plan B, I placed free hanging objects next to each-other; opposite walls with drawings. The different components, objects, shaped an open image flow, like a wall-collage. I will develop this way of presenting my work in the coming future.
